DescriptionA Multi Sports Club for Blind and Partially Sighted Children and Young People. Action for Blind People is an expert national charity ensuring blind and partially sighted people get practical support in all aspects of their lives.  Sport and leisure is one of the most exciting and fastest growing services within Action, where a team of Sports Development professionals are employed to run and manage Actionnaires. Actionnaires is a multi-sports project which aims to release the potential of blind and partially sighted children and young people aged between 4 and 16 years of age through recreational sport, building their confidence, self esteem and physical skills, whilst encouraging them to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Sessions run every Saturday from 10.30am - 12.30pm at Blacburn College Sports Centre, Feilden Street, Blackburn.  During these sessions we produce a programme of activities which are designed to get children and young people involved in sport and leisure activities.  In addition to regular multi-sports sessions which include athletics, trampolining and swimming, we run away days.  Recent away days have involved trips horse riding, dry slope skiing, indoor climbing and tenpin bowling.  
EligibilityChildren between 4 and 16 years of age.
CostSessions are free of charge and they do not require your weekly commitment.
