Welcome to your website - Children's Zone

Welcome back to those of you who have used www.urbwd.com before and hello to any new users!

You'll see lots of new features on the site including a new environmental section, games, and links to videos showing activities in and around Blackburn with Darwen.

If you haven't done so already, a good place to start is to register with us. This will allow you to change some parts of the site - and don't worry, all the information we collect from you is completely safe and we would never pass it on to anyone else.

You can take a tour of all the new features in the website by clicking in the green box below. This will give you a good introduction of what you can do. As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch - this is your website after all!

The NHS 111 service, the non-emergency telephone number for accessing local health services, is now available in Lancashire.

NHS 111 111 is a free telephone service which is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day to provide help and advice for minor injuries and illness, when it's not an emergency. For emergencies, 999 continues to be the number to call. For more information, click here.

It's all yours!

Some of the features in the website allow you to make the site your own as you use it.

This means that you can change the website to look how you want it to as soon as you visit the homepage. You can also choose to be alerted when a new piece of information is added onto the site in areas you're interested in.

Be the first!

You can also receive alerts by e-mail or text message and be one of the first people in your area to view new information! This is ideal for keeping up to date with new clubs and societies starting up around you.
