Welcome to Blackburn with Darwen's Childcare Sufficiency Assessment 2007-10

Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council constantly strives to improve the life chances of children and their families.

Through assessing and managing the childcare market the local authority and it's partners can strive to ensure there is adequate childcare for all families to enable them to continue in work or to enter training or employment.
